Jackson McCard's fondness of Connecticut began when he first visited his former employer, Bunny Williams' home in the Litchfield Hills. A native Georgian, he had never imagined how beautiful it would be. It offered streams, hills, rock walls and horse farms and he was reminded of his love of small towns connected by roads crossing over some of the most pristine countryside in the United States.

Prior to Jackson's move to the Northeast, he founded and managed a large antiques business in Quitman, GA. This is where he fell in love with real estate and started buying and selling properties all over South GA in conjunction with his antiques business. As he is known for his likability and ability to negotiate well, it was an obvious realization that he should begin connecting prospective buyers and sellers with the properties in his area.

Fifteen years ago, Jackson and his partner, decided to make a life change and move to New York City where he managed the famed Treillage, Bunny Williams and John Rosselli's fabulous garden antiques shop in Manhattan. Five years later he went to work for McKinnon and Harris, the world's premier estate garden and yacht furniture company, where he became the National Sales Director. His quest was to build lasting relationships with every premier interior designer, architect and landscape architect in the country, primarily focusing on the Northeast.

Eight years ago, when he and his partner purchased their first house together in Woodbury CT, a 1760's Dutch Colonial House in need of much restoration, it became obvious to Jackson that he would not be happy until he was back in real estate full time. Now, restoring his second 18th century house, he has enthusiastically joined William Raveis Lifestyles Realty in what he feels is the prettiest town in Connecticut, Washington Depot.

Jackson's eye for architecture, love of historic properties, his large community of design-oriented professionals, his deep knowledge of social marketing and ever-changing marketing technologies makes him the ideal Realtor for both first-time buyers and the seasoned sellers. Jackson couldn't be happier to join the family of Realtors with Raveis Lifestyles Realty in Washington Depot. He feels that he is back to his real estate roots and he is happiest when he takes on the role as a trusted advisor while joining the residents of some of Connecticut's premier smaller towns with city dwellers with dreams of finding serenity in the Connecticut Lifestyle.
